FabConstruct L500 - 3D Scanning Spray (Mattierungsspray)

For better 3D scans of very dark, shiny and reflective objects.

Spray with 500 ml content

56 Pieces in stock

FabConstruct L500 is a high yield matting spray.

Specially developed for matting scan objects, this spray improves the possibility of digitizing objects with a 3D scanner.

Prepare objects for 3D scan.

Scanning shiny, reflective, and very dark objects is problematic for many 3D scanners.
It therefore makes sense to treat these objects before the 3D scan.

Because of the fine-grained structure of this spray, it is possible to spray an even layer with minimal thickness onto the scan object.

  • The average particle size is approx. 3 Âµm.

The 3D Scan Spray is glare-free and easy to remove. It produces a white opaque coating.

Applications.

For matting metal, glass and many plastic surfaces before 3D scanning.
For the preparation of transparent and very dark surfaces.

Application.
Shake can vigorously before use. Spray on a very thin layer of matting spray from a distance of approx. 20 cm until the desired degree of matting is achieved. Allow the matting spray to dry briefly. After scanning, the layer can simply be washed off with water. Insensitive surfaces can also be cleaned with a solvent-based cleaner.

material compatibility.

In the case of plastics in particular - must be checked before use.

WARNINGS.

  • Do not inhale the spray ! Only use the spray outdoors and/or use respiratory protection (fine dust).
  • The spray can attack very sensitive materials or get stuck in rough surfaces. A permanent change (e.g. fading) of the surface cannot be ruled out ! Therefore, test spraying and removing on small areas or worthless objects first.
  • Our information is recommendations based on our experience. No liability is accepted for any damage without testing for suitability for the respective application and without preliminary tests, as well as in the event of improper handling.
