FiberFlex 30D - flexible filament with reduced hardness

FiberFlex 30D is our proposition for people interested in 3D printing with flexible filament of reduced hardness. This is the second filament from the FiberFlex family, whose high flexibility allows you to create 3D prints in projects that require rubber-like properties. Therefore, any project requiring resistance to bending, crushing or stretching may require the use of this material.

3D printing with flexible filament of Shore 30D requires some experience in this field and an appropriate 3D printer. Therefore, this extra soft material, like TPU filaments of similar Shore hardness, may be problematic for beginners. It highly recommended to use direct drive extruder and reduce speed. Reducing the pressure on the extruder gear may also help to achieve a successful print.

From other proposition of flexible filament, with hardeness grater than 30D, you may also be interested in Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D and Fiberlogy MattFlex 40D.

Applications

  • RUBBER ELEMENTS OF MACHINES: gaskets, elements that are frequently bent
  • GADGETS OR THEIR ELEMENTS: phone sleeves and cases, watch-, pulse counter-, pedometer straps
  • LINKING ELEMENTS: flexible hinges
  • TOYS OR THEIR ELEMENTS: tires, rubber figures
  • JEWELLERY: bands, bracelets

FiberFlex 30D properties

  • 30D Shore hardness
  • high impact resistance in low temperatures
  • very good thermal, chemical and abrasion resistance
