Requirement

In order to be able to print this carbon-PLA filament, you need the appropriate extruder (hardened steel nozzle) made of hardened steel for your XYZprinting 3D printer.

Made from a mixture of PLA (polylactic acid) and carbon fiber, XYZ Carbon Fiber filament lets you print 3D models with better impact resistance and an exotic finish.

A Maker’s Dream

Composed of PLA plastic and carbon fiber, our XYZ Carbon Fiber filament gives you prints with an attractive matte black finish with a slight gloss. With a simple upgrade, you can even create these exotic prints at home with our consumer-grade printers.

Lighter but Stronger

Higher strength-to-weight ratio than regular PLA. Properties of carbon fiber make your prints lighter, more rigid (less likely to bend), and more impact-resistant. Beneficial for printing the parts of remote controlled cars, drones, propellers, frames, and many more.

The Right Tools for the Job

Our compatible printer models come with upgrades to hardened steel nozzle, designed to withstand the abrasive nature of XYZ Carbon Fiber filaments. Allowing for improved durability for more quality prints.

*Immediate maintenance of nozzle is required after print
*Not recommended for printing bridges and overhangs. It is recommended that you print by parts and assemble them together.

Important Notice

It is suggested to store the filament in the zipped bag after each use. keep it in a cool dry place to away from direct sunlight.
